IUI is a less invasive fertility treatment where prepared sperm is placed directly into the uterus around the time of ovulation, timed with or without ovulation-stimulating medication. It's frequently considered a first step for couples with mild fertility challenges, unexplained infertility, or as an early-stage option before moving to IVF.
